Write Up:
Generally high foggy clouds with ceiling rising throughout the morning. First site of Pass revealed outline with some hovering fog. Shortly after, it was clearly delineated as was the ridge beyond the next valley. Highly diffused light throughout the day and no shadows. Colours on rock faces and valley floor widely varied and very intense. Occasional small blue patches in sky. Fay glacier was brilliantly highlighted through small opening in the cloud. And just enough raindrops to get our attention but no meaningfull rain. Truly a rewarding day!
