Write Up:
With a 9am start from the parking lot(including a little rain shower that lasted about 15 minutes) the weather shaped up and it turned into a beautiful sunny day. Trail a bit muddy, with recent evidence of cows at large. We pretty much had the trails to ourselves until reaching the ridge. Lots of aspen still turning various shades of gold, great views of the autumn forests, mountains covered in snow.
