Write Up:
The hike took us longer than expected. One new member was not fit enough and had bad knees which slowed us down. Also,we had a little detour midway up. As a leader I will be sure to check these details before the hike and phone that person , however, these adults should have some idea of what elevation gain they can handle. Also I will assess the members ability on the first hill to discuss their ability to continue. Other than that we had a mixture of fall weather and an interesting group for discussions while we waited.
