Write Up:
The Asulkan Valley trail starts with a pleasant valley walk leading to a steep uphill climb after 4 km. We stopped for lunch at the stream crossing that leads up to the Hut. We enjoyed glacier views and mountain scenery. Weather was ideal for hiking. Trial had bear warnings requiring hikers to keep to a tight group with a minimum of 4 hikers.
