Write Up:
The 1885 Trail follows the original CPR track through the forest. It leads to the Loop Brook Trail, an interpretive trail, which features the stone pillars that once carried the railway across the valley. We had sunny and warm weather. The hike was a delightful and easy one. It was ideal for the arrival day at the pass. Due to bear warnings we were required to hike in a tight group of at least 4 hikers.
