Lovely hike. Saw the remains of the damage to Carburn Park from the 2013 Flood. Wiped out access to the inlet I used to like to walk on to get to the bridge under Glenmore Trail. Views of downtown and the mountains from the Beaverdam/Lynwood Ridge was wonderful. Hot evening. We enjoyed every bit of shade we could find. Saw a beaver and a deer as well as numerous birds - notably: a Waxwing, some heron in a tree and cormorants.
