Write Up:
The sign up list varied as various people signed up and withdrew from the overnight Yoho adventure. We landed on a group size of thirteen people; 12 members and one guest. The group this year also did some subdividing as some members arrived on the first day, while others came later depending upon differing life situations. Likewise flexibility allowed for people to make their own choices; to hike or not to hike, and if hiking, which trails to hike. In terms of accommodation, the group was also dispersed, some staying in Field, two members choosing to camp, and some staying in Lake Louise. A big thanks to members who contributed by leading hikes; Nona lead Wapta Falls, Marlene lead Helen Lake, and Shelley lead Ross Lake. Susan and myself, Deb hosted Happy Hour the first evening. The store and cafe in Field were open this year. The cafe and hotel restaurant supported our socializing and coming together as a group in addition to the various hikes offered. Overall, a great time! Thanks to all who were part of this year's Yoho adventure!
