Third time lucky! The weather cooperated (no hurricane as predicted by Donna G.) and everyone seemed to have a good time. The trail was rougher than most of us remembered. It is heavily used, and there are lots of rocks washed onto the trail and some erosion, but we took our time and had no incidents. Thanks to everyone who hung in through all the changes and made the hike a success.
