Write Up:
We enjoyed a very pleasant 11 km hike today. The trail was very quiet , only one runner and her dog. The trail conditions varied from icy to muddy to dry. Icers and poles were useful! We were lucky to spot a colourful male grouse and his partner. A bonus was listening to his drumming.
