Write Up:A fantastic day for a hike in the Kananaskis! 9 eager souls arrived at the Burstall Pass trail head at 9:30. After a brief miscue due to a trail sign that was down, we headed up. The sky was pure blue and the temperature was +27C. Trail conditions were excellent. It's always an adventure to find the best stream trail crossings at the alluvial flats.
Lunch at the Pass had excellent views of Mounts Burstall, Birdwood, Snow Peak, Commonwealth, Robertson Glacier, Sir Douglas and Assiniboine!
Smooth sailing back down as Jutta enjoyed cooling her feet in the alluvial stream.
Krista and Dave, we are eager to hear if you had a new addition to the family while you were on trail!
