Write Up:
Due to the first gate on the Plateau Mountain road being locked, we decided to hike to the summit of Windy Peak instead. It is mostly an undulating ridge walk with incredibly views all around. We returned the same way to take advantage of staying high. Ending up hiking a distance of about 13km and 800m elevation gain.
