Write Up:
Very enjoyable group - some new members and some that have been around for awhile. Temperature was not too hot but humid with a gentle breeze on Disconnect. Not too smoky. Good work out on Long Distance. Lots of vegetation especially fireweed and cow parsnip. Summer flowers in bloom and berries on the bushes. Logs to sit upon, open views, leisurely lunch on Disconnect. Dragonflies darting around catching mosquitoes. We weren't able to return on West Snowshoe Hare as the trail was closed because there is a mama bear with her cubs. Altogether a fine day on the trail.
