Write Up:
Despite the announced threats of rain, we started the hike in good weather and made it all the way to the lake before we felt the first drops.. We had about 20 minutes of light to heavier rain, and that was it!! Overall, everyone agreed we had a great hike. However, on the drive home, we went through pelting rain that nearly made the driving impossible. I guess we picked the right time to hike.
