This hike is great work out. Get to the Goat Creek Parking Lot as early as possible as its busy. A steady, at times steep climb but the restoration work is wonderful. Chains are now anchored in the steep places and new stairs built close to the saddle. Expect high winds and colder temperatures at the hot.
