Write Up:
When we met at Bowness this morning our group decided that we would change our route and go up through the trees to Valley Ridge and do a short walk there and then come back down to Bowness. It was chilly at first but we walked briskly and soon warmed up. The highlight was seeing an owl perched up on a post looking down at us. We also enjoyed seeing " The Bird Man" feeding seeds to the chickadees . We passed some outstanding beaver sculptures, It was a very pleasant walk with a very positive energetic group. Lynn
