Write Up:
We left Calgary in the rain and soon were in clear skies and sunshine by Scotsman hill. There is a good trail most of the way and once you are on top in the the big, open stony meadow facing three mountains - Chester, James Walker and Inflexible you can go anywhere. We went to the right of Mount James Walker; following a dry "gully" with lots of fossils to two tarns. Distance was about 16 km and 850 metres eg.
