Write Up:
Today was a day of varied weather conditions. We had hiked for about 30 minutes when the rain began. Fortunately, we were all,prepared and we quickly put on our rain gear. Eventually the rain lessened to showers and then stopped and the sun shone down upon us giving us warmth and drying out our jackets. We were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch sitting around the pond at the Village. Because we experienced some very muddy places on the trails enroute to the Village we took the short route , Terrace and Kovach, back to the cars. Everyone said they had a good day. Lynn
