Write Up:
We experienced a variety of weather conditions on our walk today. When we started walking at 1:30 it was quite pleasant but as we walked along we noticed black clouds appearing. We continued on and went down to the waterfalls in Silver Springs. We soon heard the roar of thunder and then the hail came down with a vengeance! We took shelter in the trees but still could not completely escape it. Lots of "OWS" could be heard from the 6 of us. After 10 minutes the hail stopped and we carefully emerged from our shelter. The rain stopped and the sun came out. It was indeed an adventure . However, we all agreed we had a good time! Lynn
