Write Up:
The hike up to Rummel pass was scenic and swift. We stopped for a snack at Rummel Lake, continued up to the second lakelet where we had another snack, and proceeded to finish off at the pass. Beyond the second lakelet required a bit of route finding due to some lingering snow pack. We all made it across the rocks safely. Although the weather threatened to rain towards the end of the hike, we made it out without any rain. The views from the pass are beautiful, you are able to see Lost Lake as well as two lakelets. The final stats are as follows : 16.2 km, 644 m elevation gain, moving time 5 hr 3 mins. Great day with great people!
