Wonderful day on Jumpingpound East Ridge, though we did not get to the 3rd Top as planned. We had a very good reason for not doing so. A spectacular storm broke just as we made our way down the 2nd col toward the third top. We returned to the trees, hunkered down and had lunch as the storm passed. We headed back not wanting to tempt fate. The sun came out, blue skies (with the inevitable bank of cumulus in the distance), finished our lunch on the summit and back at the car for a total of 4 hours and 45 minutes and 668 m. Most exhilarating!
