Write Up:
With a start time of 9 am, our group of 18 hikers headed out on the Upper slopes at Paskapoo. Trail conditions were good, wildflowers abundant and numerous waterfalls drowned out the noise of traffic in the distance. With so many pathways open, there were many options for exploring in any direction (as part of our group discovered during a brief separation from the rest!) One notable stop was at the Paskapoo Big Rock for a group photo (thanks Don H). Happily, everyone completed the hike safely and under sunny skies - a nice way to celebrate part of the Canada Day weekend.
