Beautiful weather and a great group. There was still lot's of deep snow on the trail but we reached Jumping Pound Summit without too much difficulty. When we continued the trip along the ridge it was evident that no one had broken trail through the deep snow in the direction we were going. The group decided to turn around and return via the route we had come up, Jumping Pound Summit trail.
