What a beautiful morning for a walk in Bowmont. Everyone seemed to enjoy the warmth and the spring scene, including the lovely Silver Springs trail in the woods. As we had a large group we divided into two smaller ones. Many thanks to Sharon Fahey for leading the faster paced group. She reported their group saw the osprey on the nest, a beaver lodge, nesting geese with their young, a garter snake!, people floating down the Bow, and a crazy out of control skateboarder that just missed the group( no injuries!). Our group saw the 2 ospreys in the trees, lots of geese some with their new goslings on the water , ducks and with plant life lots of emerging tiny flowers that follow the crocuses: buffalo beans, phlox, buttercups, and ones I call robin red breast, plus bees partaking of pollen on the willow catkins. Spring is here!
