Yes, we actually did see the wild ponies on Mustang Hills -- what looked from a distance like a mare and two young 'uns. This was a gorgeous and easy hike from Rainy Summit to the high point and back. Our timing was perfect, the rain started just as we finished our hike. We saw only one other hiker up there.
