Instead of the cold, drizzly and rainy weather which was predicted we enjoyed fall temperatures with no wind, drizzle, or rain. Many leaves were in full autumn colour. Rather than heading directly to Shannon Terrace on popular paved paths which most of us use we took an indirect route using many compact and single track trails. We took time to see many of the less known sights along the way. We also watched a deer feast on someone's hedge in Evergreen Estates. Another deer was spotted beside the trail leading back to the creek. Thanks to a great group for making this a really good fall hike.
