Write Up:
There were a few sprinkles of rain when some of us left for Valley Ridge in the morning. Though it didn’t last long, just a few minutes … until mid-way through our ascent – we got a few more drops of rain again. Then we heard from someone coming down the trail saying they had rain/snow like condition up on the pass. When we got to the pass there were no signs of rain/snow, just a little windy, that’s about it. Must be our lucky day. Thank you all for coming. Hike took about 3.5 hours not counting lunch.
