Write Up:
We started the hike at around 10 am under cloudy skies and the temp stayed at around 18 degrees. Perfect hiking weather. The trail was in excellent condition. It had been a few years since I did this hike and the last part of the trail has been changed. It was switchbacked. Still very steep but much better then before. We had a leisurely lunch at the lake. Lots of hikers and backpackers with dogs. Returned to the vehicles at around 3pm. We had a few drops of rain. But didn’t rain still we were all heading back home. Couldn’t get much more perfect than that. Any day in the mountains is a awsome day.
