Write Up:
Despite the smoke in the atmosphere, we had a lovely hike. The temperature was perfect. We tried the new route that leads off the High Rockies Trail. The start of the trail in not well marked so we had to do our own route finding up to the top of the first ridge. However, this was not terribly difficult. There was a great group of hikers who contributed to a very successful day.
