Write Up:
Got to the trailhead good time and headed off with a cloudy sky. The clouds soon disappeared and it was a clear sunny day. We made great time and arrived at the meadows where we were greeted by many wildflowers still in bloom. Meandered our way through the meadows to the pass enjoying the views along the way. Had lunch at the pass and enjoyed the sights. After lunch we descended and lots of flies and mosquitoes joined us on the way back to the cars. Everyone enjoyed the day. This is among one of my favourite hikes and once again it did not disappoint. Think I will redo in the fall with the larches. We covered around 20 km and 875 metres of elevation.
