Write Up:
Started early because it was predicted to be very hot. 12 people on the hike. We hiked to the summit of Jumping Pound Mountain and were greeted by an infestation of gnats. Retreated from the summit to some rocks on the ridge and had an enjoyable lunch with a view. Continued North on the ridge until the trail forked from the Cox Hill trail and descended down through forest to the car for a shuttle. It was 27C at the end of the hike. A very enjoyable day with a great bunch of people.
