A good day was had by all! A little cloud, a little sun, and a little rain. The Sun Gods cooperated for our lunch which was at the end of the moraine by the glacier. Spectacular views! Took lots of breaks to enjoy. There is one very steep section with loose rock and of course a little mud yesterday. By our phones it said we did 14 km. It took us almost 6 hours however it could probably be completed in 5.0 to 5.5 hrs. If you haven't done this hike add it to your list. Finding the trail head is not difficult however when you break out of the forest you must go to the left though the trees where you see the big boulders. Yes it is straight up from there, with some switch backs and a few Marmots. If you go this time of year you will also see a beautiful waterfall. We also saw a "snowfall" up by the glacier, it looked just like a waterfall but only lasted a few minutes. Cool!
