Write Up:
We experienced phenomenal views on the magnificent Pocaterra Ridge. A great weather day. We started at Highwood Pass parking lot and completed our trip with a walk across the highway to Little Highwood parking area. The car shuttle is the best way to see the ridge. We could see Elbow Lake tucked under Mount Rea on the other side of the valley and the full parking lot. There was Kananaskis lakes in view as well. Andrew Nugara ..author on top with us. The wild flowers were in full bloom. The rugged descent brought us to Pocaterra creek and a log crossing. Thanks to all for coming out.
