Write Up:
We started off driving to Dawson Trailhead and we saw a bear on Highway 1 just before Jumping Pound Creek. I guess he took a look at the traffic and decided not to cross the highway as he then jumped back over the fence and disappeared. The weather was perfect for hiking, cloudy/sunny and a bit of a breeze, no rain, good for climbing. Trail was good and lots of flowers. Thanks everyone for coming out. Elizabeth Z.
