The weather was perfect for hiking. We used single track, granular and paved pathways to reach Shannon Terrace and returned on pathways in the valley. We saw several deer and a baby skunk as well as lots of flowers. Thanks to a great group. Moments after arriving back at the cars the skies blackened, it it started to pour and the skies lit up with spectacular lightning.
