We had a great hike to Wind Ridge yesterday, although it was the hottest day many of us have hiked this year and it was also quite humid, so we were sweating up the steep incline. One thing noteworthy is that the trail is being re-built. The bridge that was newly built last year is no longer there and the trail has been re-routed. There are now three wooden bridges over the creek crossing and I am happy to say, in spite of this, the directions for the trail are quite clear if on makeshift signs. It was gorgeous at the top and we all had a super day.
