Weather was as forecast today mainly sunny with cloudy periods, low wind and just 5 minutes of a sprinkling of rain at the pass. We went beyond the pass about 2kms up on the ridge for awhile and had lunch. Trail conditions are very good, no snow or flooding -just a few muddy sections. No ticks.
