Write Up:
The day was quite conducive to hiking in the mountains. The morning was quite sunny while there was cloud cover for the return trek to the parking lot. We were a group of eleven with 5 guys and 6 ladies. Lorna nd Cathy were two new members with Shan was a guest of Cathy. The hike was uneventful as there were no bears to be found though we encountered a couple mule deer. Oh and we saw a chipmunk. There were many folks on the trail, both cyclists, hikers and backpackers. Happy trails to all!
