Write Up:
A very good day for our down-hill hike. Sunny and warm in morning, a bit ominous at noon and then just right for the finish. We observed what I will identify as a Great Grey Owl - and it observed us. Never saw one up close like that - not disturbed by us at all. Donna G may post a picture. Impressive bird up close.
