Raspberry Ridge done as a Loop....At the base of Raspberry Ridge, there is a clearing with a split in the trail. The trail to the right is the traditional route. The one to the left is a well defined trail and a pleasant alternate route to the fire lookout, zig-zaging its way up a bare grassy slope. After attempting to find this trail on the way down last year, without success, we decided to follow it going up this year. It is well worth the extra 2km, making the Raspberry Ridge hike a pleasant loop.
