Write Up:
We had a "bit of paradise" on our hike! Perfect day. We invited a gentleman from Michigan,USA ( he had driven 3 days)to join us as he was solo.We were more than an "adequate" group for him. The weather was fabulous-cool on the up and no wind at the pass and phenomenal views. The gargoyle valley did not disappoint. We saw a family of sheep just as we moved into the valley and they put on a "show" for us. There were trail runners and a few pairs on the hike. We watched 2 hikers come down from Mount Edith at lunch at the pass. Mount Louis was majestic. As we exited Mount Edith and Louis,there is a sign to indicate where to enter the forest. Thanks to everyone for coming out.
