Write Up:
We got off early at the carpool location and we were able to start the hike at about 9:45 from the parking lot. A grizzly showed its presence about 3/4 km from our trailhead. The hike to the Fox/Frozen Lake junction was uneventful except for all the chatter. Once at the junction someone was kind enough to tell Gerry that I was going to go on the wrong trail. That's why I enjoy having learned folks on the hikes. The remaining part of the hike up to Frozen Lake had a little less chatter and more groaning and grunting. That and the loud heart beats kept the wildlife from bothering us. The hike took about 5 hours to complete. The interesting thing is that the ascent and the descent both about 2.5 hours each. Cheers
