It took us 2hrs & 2 min. to travel the 203 kms from VR to the trailhead, There were two new avalanche areas on the way up. Most of the flowers were gone except for one narrow gulley full of flowers. The weather was not great, cloudy all day with smoke coming in after 1 pm. Also the hikers were chased off the ridge with wind, clouds and snow flurries. The snow lasted about 20 minutes so the trip down was dry but smoky. Terry
