Good temperatures for this very scenic hike. Smoke closed in a bit late in the day. Our group of five had lunch in the midst of about 20 sheep and one goat. We covered approximately 11 km in five hours over generally rocky ground. We went up from 2210 m at the Highwood parking lot to 2505 m at Little Highwood col and then down 600 m to 1905 m at Little Highwood parking. This might have been the first club hike here in more than 20 years - Peter M says he led one in 1995
