Write Up:
The weather was ideal today for a very pleasant hike. We hiked up to the top of Elk Pass, down the Hydroline and a side trip on Fox Creek. The trail from the junction of Blueberry Hill and to the top of Elk Pass has had a lot of work done to it. No more boggy areas. A great trail . We had our lunch at the top of Elk Pass and celebrated two birthdays, George and Donna G. There is a new carved arch way at the top of Elk Pass. It is on the BC side. It says Welcome to Elk Valley and has some wonderful carvings. A great hike with a great group ! Lynn
