Write Up:
The group set off from Valley Ridge at 7:20 to avoid the traffic: Arriving at the trailhead on Moraine road at ~ 9:15 with only three space left. Weather was great, flowers too: last week (June 25)the trail would have been snowy and muddy, but we had just a few patches of snow and a few muddy sections (getting muddier by the hour) Our CWH data base underestimated/reported the hike's metrics, but the hikers were fit and finished the hike without problems, and enjoyed it. I have requested a change in the metrics to reflect "reality" - upped to 21 km and 305 m. Started the hike at 9:20, finished ~ 4:30ish. Zillions of cars on the road!
