Write Up:
The trails were in good condition and clear of snow. We started off in cool temperatures and it did not heat up until the return at the end of the day. We had a nice breeze for our lunch spot at the tarn in Healy Meadows. The group was thrilled with the views on Healy Pass, especially those that had not been before. A wonderful day enjoyed by all! The glacier lilies were mostly done but there was an abundance of White Globe Flowers, Western Anemone, Western Spring Beauty, Northern or Bog Laurel, Mountain Marsh Marigold and Paint Brush. The meadows were covered. Glynn took some excellent photos. Note: Where we normally go up to the rocks from Healy Pass is now a restricted area with a hefty fine for ignoring it. Shirley M
