Write Up:
This was the first time since the flood of 2013 that most of us have been on the new trail. It follows the creek for most of the way. I would certainly recommend this trail. There were some muddy sections on the lower part of Kovach. On the return trip we followed Kovach to Aspen to Link and back down to the parking lot thus doing a loop for the hike. There were a few new bridges. The weather was perfect for hiking. Once we got to the Village we enjoyed a leisurely lunch sitting by the pond.
