Write Up:
It was a perfect day for our hike up to Yam's east ridge. The sun stayed behind the clouds while we hiked up, making for a very pleasant temperature. We were a lot hotter on the way down, when the sun decided to show itself. We heard reports of a small bear near the trail but we didn't see it. Maybe the bear was scared off by the dozen or so members of the Cochrane Hiking Club who descended ahead of us. Till next time, happy hiking.
