Write Up:
Our hike was fabulous! The weather was great for hiking with mostly sunny skies, even tough there was a thin layer of smoke in the air. We called it "misty". We had a few members from our wait list joining us. I think they enjoyed themselves very much. Parking is always a challenge, but we arrived before 9 am and managed well. After the hike the park personnel advised everybody that there is a black bear close by munching on berries. We were asked to stay in the cars, or to be every careful while changing after our hike. We kept our eyes open while leaving the parking lot, but no bear in sight. Overall, it was a fantastic day! Thanks to all for the great company:)
