Write Up:
We enjoyed a beautiful warm day in the mountains with blue sky, a few clouds and lots of snow. Using only micro-spike we found the trail packed down up to the lake. In the meadow someone had built what most people thought looked like a “snow-cat”. We continued on to Elephant Rocks for lunch breaking trail fairly easily in our micro-spikes and at lunch were treated to a sun halo. Thank you everyone for such a fun and enjoyable day.
